Advice and Support for Families

Citizens Advice
Citizens Advice offer free, independent advice to everybody, whoever you are, whatever the problem. They have offices in Worthing, Shoreham, Horsham, Crawley, East Grinstead, Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill, as well as several outreaches. Every year thousands of people seek advice and help solving their problems. They are your Citizens Advice and are there for everyone to help with problems like managing debt or household bills, understanding rights at work or housing issues.  They also provide specialist services in debt, homelessness and employment.

Early Help and Enabling Families Service
Early Help supports families to improve their situation and prevent the need for prolonged support. The sooner a family receives the right support, the sooner they are able to do this. We offer support to parents and carers who have worries or concerns about their child. We work in partnership with health, early years & childcare providers and schools.

Family Information Service
Family Information Service has a searchable website which can be used to find universal services aimed at parents and carers of 0 to 25 year olds. They provide information on Ofsted registered childcare, family activities and support services. They also offer extra help to people who are struggling to find suitable childcare.

Family Fund
Family Fund is the UK’s largest charity providing grants for families on low incomes raising disabled or seriously ill children and young people.

Horsham Matters
Horsham Matters is a Christian charity that aims to demonstrate love of our neighbour by relieving hardship through the provision of essential services (food, fuel and shelter) in order to make a positive, long-lasting impact on people's lives.
