Head2Head Sensory Theatre

Founded in 2006, Head2Head Sensory Theatre has only one aim, to serve the special needs’ and disability community. Head2Head makes theatre that is fully accessible and inclusive for all. Everyone has the right to enjoy the magic of theatre, experience the sights, sounds and scents of a different world and become part of that world. Their immersive and multi-sensory productions are lively and full of fun for all involved.

Kangaroos – Clubs for children with disabilities and complex needs

Kangaroos provide short breaks for children and young people with learning disabilities, complex needs, autism, behavioural and epilepsy to have fun, interact with their peers, learn new skills and enjoy new experiences independently of their families.

Level Water – Swimming Lessons for children with disabilities

Level Water provides free one-to-one swimming lessons at the Triangle in Burgess Hill for disabled children. They teach children who cannot swim 10 meters who have mobility, visual and hearing impairments.

Listening Books

An audiobook lending charity for those that find their illness, mental health, physical or learning disability affects their ability to read the printed word or hold a book. Listening Books provides a postal and internet based audiobook service to over 100,000 UK residents who have a disability or illness that impacts their ability to read the printed word.
