Before and after school childcare provision

Our popular breakfast and afterschool club runs 5 days a week during term time, from 7.35am until 6.30pm. Being an integral part of our activities you can expect the high quality care that our pupils receive throughout the school day to continue to this extended period.
 
Mrs Denise Aldridge leads the team of five enthusiastic playworkers, co-ordinating the provision of activities available to the children. The activities are delivered in a more relaxed manner than experienced in the conventional school day, but are nevertheless carefully organised as we consider our wrap around care to be part of our wider provision to the children. 

The children are able to enjoy their time before and/or after school and choose from a wide variety of activities. Throughout the extended hours of operation the children have access to the academy’s ICT facilities and if they wish, will have the opportunity to complete their homework. Children will of course have the option to choose the activities that they partake in and/or make the best use of the facilities available in the room – games, arts and crafts etc. Details of the pricing for your children to stay with us for the extended hours are shown below.

Children are able to enjoy a varied breakfast in the morning and a light home-cooked meal in the evening as part of the provision.
 
Prices per child:

Places need to be booked via the school office and payment made in advance via Parentmail, cheque, cash, bank transfer or childcare vouchers; additional sessions may be available on a daily basis should an emergency arise and child care be needed.
