Newsletter - July 2016

20/7/2016

Dear Parents, What a year it has been! So much has been achieved in so many areas and we have shown ourselves to be continuing in an upward direction! We are delighted with the Year 6 NCT results (see below) and very proud of how the staff and pupils prepared themselves and dealt with the task in hand, in what has been a chaotic year for assessment. We have continued a relentless focus on the quality of teaching and the standards we expect across the school and been suitably rewarded.

Newsletter - June 2016

15/6/2016

Dear Parents,
There is nothing about the weeks ahead that suggests a sense of winding down – more the complete opposite as there is so much to look forward to and to fit in before the end of term. Apart from the usual day to day lessons, we’ve got country dancing in Horsham Park, numerous sporting fixtures, Y6 performing at The Capitol, new teachers visiting, an Egyptian workshop, a Greek Day and a trip to Brighton. The children derive a lot of benefit from these extra curricular activities but what is rewarding for the staff is that their behaviour is so frequently applauded from staff at the places they visit and those who visit us. They really are a credit to you and the academy.
