Spring I Newsletter 2020

16/3/2020

Headteacher Headlines

The front cover of this half term’s newsletter captures the excitement experienced by year 6 at the O2 in January.  Young Voices at the O2 is a showcase of children singing together as part of one of the world’s biggest massed choirs.   On Friday 24th January, the year 6 children joined 8000 other pupils from primary schools up and down the country to sing alongside professional singers and musicians.  Young Voices isn’t just about the event at the O2.  It’s also weeks of rehearsing in school preparing for the performance experience of a lifetime. We’re incredibly grateful to Mrs Kerney-Haynes and Miss Ford for teaching the choir so they were able to reach their full potential on the night.
